Established in a redundant barn in 1984 as Barron's Brewery by former publican Richard Barron, expanded in 1991, when Richard was joined by former brewers' agent Guy Sheppard and the name was changed to Exe Valley. Beers are brewed traditionally from our own spring water, using Devon Malt and English hops. Brewery was expanded in 1993 with the new plant being opened by our MP, Mrs Angela Browning.
